Kyrgyz Government will allocate means for Naryn prisons for lifers

The government will allocate means for buildings in Naryn prisons for the maintenance of the persons sentenced to a death penalty and life imprisonment.
News agency "AKIpress" which informed refers to words of the press-service chief of criminal and executive system of General Management of Punishment Execution (GMPE) at Ministry of Justice in Kyrgyzstan, Sergey Sidorov.
According to his words the main problem is to maintain such category of people who are 180 in general. So long as there are no special jails for keeping lifers in Kyrgyzstan, they are contained with the other convicted persons in colonies of intensified supervision.
“It is very dangerous to keep lifers with the ordinary prisoners since there is nothing for them to lose. Therefore the Government is allocating means that will be spent for building jails for lifers in Naryn” - cites the agency words of the press service chief of GMPE.
