“Birlik” party leader intends to go to law against “ Andizhan Truth” paper

As Uznews.net informed, on July 11 a case of one of the party leaders “Birlik” Pulat Akhunov against “Andizhan Truth” paper (founder is oblast administration) should be considered.

According to the site, article entitled “ How Pulat Akhunov ploughs the Internet” published on newspaper under authorship of Ochil Gaffirof became the reason of a trail against the paper. Hero of the article considers it as a full fiction and slander.

The article describes difficulties connected with Akhunov and his Uzbek passport receipt which lasts for a year. The reason of it as Gafforov wrote is Pulat's already being a citizen of Germany and Sweden , and even worked in European Union structure and that is why has no right to become an Uzbek citizen.

In his claim against “Andizhan Truth” Pulat Akhunov in particular claims information spread by the paper is unauthentic and he is not a citizen of any other country except Uzbek Republic .

Considering, that the publishing touches his honour and dignity, he according to articles No. 99 and 100 in Civil Code of Republic Uzbekistan, exacts compensation as a moral damage in 50 million sums.
