North Tajikistan worried about activity of religious movement Salaphia

As Central Asian NEWS informed, at session of city administration Khojend threat and danger from religious movement Salaphia was discussed.

According to CA-NEWS, city prosecutor made statements on this issue. As he said, “for past three years the number of Salaphia members increased in the city”.

The mayor of Khojend Muhammadzhon Mamadzhonov added that great number of its members is young people.

“Today we need to conduct more propagation and to explain to youth ideological danger of the organization in order to decrease its membership”, - said the mayor.

According to participants, Salaphia members who propagate youth today, studied at religious schools in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia .

At session it was offered not to let in members of the movement to oblast mosques to pray.

By official data the quantity of Salaphia supporters for last 3 years has increased in Dushanbe , Khojend and in rayons of republic submission.

Salaphia Movement considers itself as one of Islam directions, but does not recognize its other directions. The movement appeared in XIV century.

The headquarters of this religious organization is located in England .
